Its hard enough trying to communicate with your toddler or child, but to understand what they are feeling. Its frustrating for children to express how they are feeling with just mad or happy. We teach our  children the alphabets and numbers with flash cards. So why not teach them emotions with flash cards also. Its is an effective way for councelors, teachers, and families to communicate and bond with children. And for the children its a quick way to enhance emotional intelligence. It helps them identify emotions and share important thoughts about feelings. You can make it a fun family project if you'd like all you need is flash cards, markers or colors. On one side draw a picture of a face expressing an emotion then write the emotion under the face. And you and your child can express and share your thoughts.

Takeaways
  • This helps identify emotions.
  • This helps to talk about feelings.
  • Both you and your child can express to one another.
Did You Know?
Any unrecognized emotion is easily turned into anger. THis goes for both adult and child. It helps to recognize the right emotions.
