Angel Napkin Ring Christmas Craft
Try making each angel napkin ring in each Christmas set out of a different colored ribbon for visual interest!
To Make Angel Napkin Rings You Will Need:
Fabric
Fusible Interfacing
Fabric Paint
Needle
Head
Fabric glue
Go ahead and cut your fabric or ribbon out to about 6 inches tall. Cut out a matching piece of fusible web. Iron the two together. Trim an rough edges so they match.
Use fabric glue to glue this into a circle. Let dry. You need to use a high adhesive fabric glue or even sew this with your machine.
Now, cut out the angel wings. These can be two simple leaf shapes. You could even use two silk leaves if you want. This will add a nice natural touch to the angel napkin rings.
Now, cut out another piece of fabric than is about three inches wide and 7 inches long. Again, cut out a matching piece of interfacing. Iron them together. Form this into a circle and glue or sew down.
Now, on top of this loop you want to glue on the tow angle wings.
Take the first loop of fabric or ribbon and tie a piece of ribbon around it, about 2/3s of the way up to from the angel head. Go ahead and paint on the angel face with fabric paint. Add as much detail or as little as you want.
Now, glue your angel on top fo the wings using more fabric paint.
Let this dry completely. I recommended using a needle and thread to firmly attach if you can!
Once everything has dried you can add a halo to the angel using pope cleaner, ribbon, or even that lovely star ribbon made from wire!
