Why They Bring a Fool when I Am Here?

A famous educational institution had a vacancy for the top post of Dean. A senior faculty member Prof.Mann aspired for the post hoping legitimately he was eligible. But to his surprise and shock he learns that some one from outside is invited and appointed. Prof. Mann is greatly agitated over his disappointment. At that time his friend Som walks in. The conversation follows.

Som: Prof. Mann. What happened to your promotion to the post of Dean? You were sure of getting selected?

Prof. Mann: Don't tell me anything now. I am in a whirlpool of sorrow. I lost.

Som: Don't worry. You will get another chance soon.

Prof: Mann: Why should they ( the government) bring some fool from outside when I am here?

Som: That is exactly the reason, which you have admitted they brought one from outside.
