Aston Martin is a world renown manufacturer of luxury performance cars. Located in England, the company came up with its name from the Aston Clinton Hill climb and from one of the company's original founders, Lionel Martin. Many people believe that Aston Martin is still a division of Ford, but the division was purchased by Prodrive in March of this year. The company has been working hard towards reestablishing itself as the best of the luxury car market. That is why the announcement by the company that it is planning to team up with Bang & Olufsen is huge news.
Bang & Olufsen is considered to be a leader in the manufacturing of high end audio products. The company is also well known for manufacturing television sets and telephones as well. Much older than the Aston Martin company, B& O was founded in 1925 by Peter Bang and Svend Olufsen. The pair used their last names to properly name the company that you recognize today. Their innovative products are always imitated by other manufacturers around the world. However, those products never seem to be as good as the B& O brand. The announcement that they will be placing the B & O brand audio equipment into future Aston Martin vehicles gives you yet another reason to associate Bang & Olufsen with the best.
