Barbie and Herschel Go to the Pet Store

Barbie was really excited. Today she was going to the pet store with her boyfriend, Dr. Herschel Goldman, the famous gynecologist. Barbie was looking forward to having a new companion in her house. Herschel wanted to make Barbie happy. He knew how difficult life was for her after the loss of her long-time boyfriend, Ken, to another girl. Barbie hated Susie Bratz for taking Ken away from her, but now she was so happy with her beloved Herschel.

When Barbie and Herschel went inside the pet store, the couple instantly fell in love with a white, toy poodle and decided to purchase him. They took their little poochie over to Barbie's house right away. "We must decide on a name for him," said Herschel. Barbie pondered for awhile and then came up with some suggestions. These included: Noodle Kugel, Blintzie, Latke Lad, Bagel Bites, Schmaltzie, and Chopped Liver. Barbie called her dog using all these names, but the poodle never responded.

Finally, she said to Herschel, "I just don't know what to call our little matzoh ball." Immediately, the dog began to bark excitedly. "That's it!" exclaimed Herschel. "We'll call him Matzoh Ball." Barbie enthusiastically agreed. Afterwards, Barbie and Herschel were off to the deli with their sweet little poodle, Matzoh Ball. They enjoyed a heaping bowl of chicken soup with large, fluffy matzoh balls. Fortunately, the cook did not add the poodle to the mix, and they heartily savored their favorite dish to the very last drop.
