Many families believe that Christmas is one of the most important days of the year for families to spend time together. For some people, the tradition of spending time together as a family begins with a big family breakfast around the table. Here are some wonderfully tasty ideas for your family's Christmas breakfast. These are all things that we have done on Christmas morning breakfast in my house over the years.

Many middle aged people want a Christmas breakfast reminiscent of a time when they were young children on the far. This type of breakfast takes a little time in the kitchen to pull off. Start with slices of country cured ham, sausage, bacon or any of your favorite pork meat, scramble some eggs, makes biscuits from scratch, and pour your favorite juice or type of milk. The country buffet breakfast is the perfect way to begin your Christmas day festivities.

On Christmas morning many people crave the type of breakfast they would find at their favorite restaurant, but don't want to get up early in the morning, drive to the restaurant and eat and in some cases overeat, only to turn around and go back home to open their Christmas presents. Bring the pancakes, sausage, grits, and eggs of your favorite restaurant home on Christmas morning. Offer a variety of syrup, jam, jelly, and other toppings for pancakes and different varieties of meat, eggs and bacon. Your family will love the feel of gathering round the dining table at home while enjoying restaurant caliber foods.

Many people will want to eat a light breakfast on Christmas morning with just enough food to give them the energy to meet the demands of Christmas morning opening presents. One of the healthiest light breakfast menus that I have ever seen is a fruit bar breakfast. Cut up your favorite melons, citrus fruits, exotic fruits such as kiwi, mango, and pineapple, as well as your favorite berries, serve them with light pastry and a light juice or milk beverage.
