In this review I'll be taking a look at a brand new to-do list manager for Mac OS X called Do It. Do It, a free product (although donations are always welcome, according to the project's website), is fully supported on the newest version of the Mac operating system (10.5 - Leopard), but although not supported on older versions ( such as the version I'm running, 10.4 - Tiger), Do It seemed to work just fine on my computer.

As is seen in the screen shots, Do It has a sleek, minimal interface that puts your appointments and tasks in a tiny window that can be made to float over the screen, or simply act as another window (which can then be obscured).

Adding items to Do It is a snap, although I must admit that the first time I tried, by clicking the little plus-sign button, I was stymied. Nothing happened! I wondered at that point whether or not the application wasn't going to work on my system, but then I made the realization that before setting up a new task, I needed to first create a category for that task to belong to.

After creating this category, clicking the plus-sign button worked, and I was greeted with another small window, with fields ready to be filled in. The available fields are the title of the task, the task's priority (either low, medium or high), as well as the deadline for the task, and any file or URL you want linked to it.
