Associated Content is requesting an article about the 2008 road bikes for men. They would like to know about the new makes, models, features, and various prices. As an experienced bike rider and owner of not one, but two Harley Davidson's, a Sportster 1200 and a Road King Custom, I would like to ask what exactly is a road bike for men? I am a woman. I do not have many signs of masculinity, if any, and I would like to know what the difference is between a road bike for men and a road bike for women, or if there is such a thing as a road bike for women, as far as AC is concerned.

I will, however, let you know that riding my Sportster is an exhilarating rush. To follow a winding country road on a beautiful day with the power taking you through the wind is a feeling that cannot be described to the degree of the actual experience. Leaving the Sportster behind and cruising along on the Road King is a lot like going from a speedy little sports car to a luxury Cadillac. On two wheels of total comfort, you find yourself wanting to take in the sights a bit slower with a calm attitude.

Dressing the part is just some of the fun. On the colder days, the leather chaps, vest, jacket, and gloves shield the bite of the cold as you roar down the road. On the warm days, a comfortable pair of jeans, and a spaghetti strap t-shirt takes on the sun and air while you enjoy the weather to the maximum benefit.

Riding my bikes saves on fuel and always alters my mood to the most positive level. I do not pay attention to the upcoming models or the new features of bikes in general, but I do enjoy riding my 2001 Sportster and my 2004 Road King every chance I get, whether it is to commute to work, take a day long cruise on back roads, or ride to a local festival like Stark Bike Fest or Bike Week in Daytona, both in Florida, riding my bike seems to invigorate me with a feeling of youth that we all miss on occasion.

So as far as road bikes for men go, I don't really know if I even brushed that subject, but I do know my road bikes belong to a woman who enjoys the wind on her face as much as any man.
