When it comes to your wedding, you know exactly what you want, and you know how you want your day to go. For many people, their thoughts stop here, and they don’t consider another important aspect of their wedding day. It is your special day, but have you forgotten your friends and family? No matter how perfect your day may seem to you, you have to make sure you keep your wedding guests happy too.For most people, this is a concern, yet they forget to think about it, or don’t consider the comfort of their guests. People want to share in your happy day, but there are some big blunders that may make your guests feel unappreciated. When your guests are unhappy, they may soon regret spending so much on your gift, or they may end up leaving early.
Time
If you are getting married during a popular time of the year, you may run into problems booking the best places for your ceremony and reception. Sometimes, when this happens, you end up with a big gap of time between the ceremony and the reception. Even worse, you may end up sending your guests on a wild goose chase trying to find your reception hall. If you want to keep your wedding guests happy, you have to take this into consideration.
For a wedding guest, having to wait for hours in between the ceremony and the reception is a huge mood killer. They are often hungry, and want to sit, relax, and socialize with other guests. In order to keep your wedding guests happy, keep the time in between the two short, and make sure the reception site you have chosen isn’t on the other side of the city.
Food
You may have developed a healthy lifestyle, and have found that you like more exotic foods. While there is nothing wrong with this, you may leave your guests cold if they have never laid eyes on what is placed before them when they sit down to eat. Weddings guests are often very hungry when the time comes to eat, and if you offer them food they don’t like, you are going to have a lot of unhappy guests.
