The First Part of Trilogy, Dedicated to My Father
The warm morning sun engulfing our family roomas I was having conversation with Dad.
There was always something he'd like to ask, for instance,
all kind of lingo he heard.
Because he always wants to learn
to defy the threat of time.
Sometimes he asks me how I am doing
just enough to show a sign of love.
Whereas for me, that proof should be enough,
a trace of cleaver
on the tip of your decapitated finger.
That is your signature of love
protected me from a threat
when I was just a baby.
