Designing a Webpage Using Microsoft Word

You Can Create Your Own Website with Little or No Technical Knowledge

You have something that you want to put on the Internet, but you don't have any technical knowledge of html. You don't want to pay a lot of money for someone to design your site either. Even though there are web hosts with templates that have already been made that
could be adapted to any occasion to create a website, even for those with no technical knowledge, you would rather design the site yourself, so you can add a personal touch.

Your solution may be to design your website using Microsoft Word. It requires little or no technical knowledge to design a website using Word, and you don't have to know a thing about html. I don't have a lot of personal experience putting websites on the Internet, only a little (I did put my church's website online), but I do have an Associate Degree in Applied Business. My major was Microcomputer Business Administration, and my specialization was Web Administration. I can tell you it is much, much, easier to design a website using Microsoft Word than using html. You might be surprised at how good a website designed with Word can look.

It doesn't matter why you want to design a site. It can be easy and fun to create, whether the site will be your own personal website, a family site, a site for your club, or for a small business.

First off, look at some of your favorite websites. What features do they have that you might like in your own website? Once you do that you have taken the first step.

The first thing you need to know is that you can make any document you create in Word a webpage by simply clicking on File at the top of your window, and then click on Save as a Webpage. Once you name your webpage and save it, your document is a webpage that is ready to be put on the Internet. That is all there is to making a document a webpage, but now we will examine how to make a document more interesting.

Thank you. I am relieved to find this information. About 1 1/2 yrs ago, I looked for this info online and found many articles which were not clear. I then paid someone to design my website - they were recommended by a friend. It took two months to do one line. I disengaged him and found another web designer. He was a supplier with anreputable association of which I am a member. He said he could do it in 2 wks for $2000. He has a web company. $2000 and five difficult months later, while spending at least 8 hours a week with the designer, I finally had a website, designed in JOOMLA, a difficult language, even for web designers, so say several designers I know. It turns out that this Web-company owener actually works for someone else and does not have people on-site with him doing the work. He actually got someone from India to do the work and I am the one who had to try to communicate with him with very little input from the original guy I hired. I could have gone onto elance
