Two Special Moms

Blue-collared born in a small southern town
Sunday School hymns and birthday clowns
She'll raise her own with the same simple plan
Love them and teach all the she can
Dinner at five, in bed by nine
They'll grow to be of their mother's kind
With her gift bestowed by God's loving grace

She's loved by all for her special place

Born with a spirit and will of her own
A mustang at heart wanting only to roam
She'll raise her own on her strength to survive
Her spirit will keep them free and alive
Shaping their days by what each day brings
They'll grow to hold dear the littlest things
With her gift bestowed by God's loving grace
She's loved by all for her special place

We raise our children in different ways. It's the spice of our personalities that move the world, and we should thank our moms for each of their contributing flavors.
