Free Secular Kids' Christmas Printables
Embed:
Need some fun interactive holiday printables for your holiday lesson planning? How about some games or puzzles to keep anxious children occupied until the 'big day'? Or maybe you, like me, have a sick child at home who needs some quiet activities to enjoy while recuperating? Here are some of my favorite websites loaded with more free stuff to print than you have ink or paper to print! I always feature the free printables because there are plenty of stuff to pay for especially at Christmas and I figure your wallet needs a break. These websites feature mainly secular or non-religious holiday activities. You can print puzzles to stimulate the brain cells, mazes, coloring pages and our youngest daughter's new favorite printable: color by number. Some color by number include math problems to solve and then color by number. Here's a perfect way to keep the momentum in math and have some great holiday fun. These sites often include recipes, songs, interactive game ideas, online coloring, cut and assemble projects, stained glass type coloring pages, cut and play games, cut and color holiday cards and much more.
All About Christmas is a website which offers it's own free printables. It's also a clearinghouse of other links as well. You will need an Adobe Acrobat Reader which you can download free if your computer does not have one. This will open printables in a personal document format for you to print and save.
I have featured Mom's Break.com before, but I really can't let a printable article go to press without including this site. I chuckled at their slogan, 'PMS- Printable Madness Syndrome'. Honestly, it is addicting to print all this cool stuff free! Snowmen gift tags, letters from Santa, lots of free cards, puzzles, all created by moms for moms (dad's- you can print here too; we'll let you.) Remember to click the 'fast economical printing' option under the preferences tab on your printer. Your printer will less than one tenth, yes 1/10 of the ink normally used.
