Synopsis: Set 20 years after “The Talented Mr. Ripley” a now-married Tom Ripley lives the good life on a French estate. But one night of an incident at a party, his psychopathic urges take over and he plans a sinister plot for revenge.
Tom Ripley is back after 20 years, this time not played by Matt Damon but the older Tom Ripley is played by (John Malkovich) is living a wealthy lifestyle in Europe and is in a relationship with a woman named Terry (Uwe Mansshardt). But Tome is still at work with his old sadistic tricks again and gets help of an corrupt partner Reeves (Ray Winstone). It starts out when Tom is invited to a party by a neighbor, Jonathan Trevanny (Dougray Scott) a poor picture framer with leukemia sickness, for the fun of it insults Tom in front of everyone. As part of Ripley’s plan he uses Reeves to get Johnathan to become a hit man by bribing him with a lot of money that could support his family. Jonathan takes on the job and turns out from the average person into a killer. By assassinating Russian mobsters, and later Ripley comes to the rescue and they begin to form a blood brother bond. When they massacre mobsters on a moving train. The game is not over yet, and Jonathan has troubles with his wife Sarah (Lena Headley), when she becomes suspicious of his doings and threatens to leave him if he does not come clean with her. But he must keep it a secret and to protect his family. But Ripley will stop at nothing to win the game.
