  2. Buy less, Save more!
  3. Be thrifty! Watch how you spend. Save money by cutting down on your spending.
  4. Save money by not buying unnecessary things and junk.
  5. Save money by getting a deal. Shop during sales.
  6. Clip coupons.
  7. Buy in bulk.
  8. Cut out junk food. Go on a diet. Eat healthy and do not waste food, save money on food.
  9. Cook at home. Eat out less and save more.
  10. Stop drinking sodas! Lose weight, less cavities and save more!
  11. Exercise more, save on health care costs.
  12. Cut down on bills. Bundle up on cable, internet and phone and save.
  13. Eliminate a home phone bill altogether if you can get by with only a cell phone. A cell phone could be possibly used as a line for the internet instead of using a home phone line.
  14. Cut down on AC and heating bills. Keep the temperatures low! Insulate in winter time. Open the windows during summer.
  15. Put away a little bit of money every time you get a paycheck into a savings account.
  16. Invest money that you save in a CD or low risk funds.
  17. If you are not interested in having kids then you will be more than double your savings during your lifetime!
  18. Now go out and save more and be on your way to retiring early and enjoying a richer life, literally and figuratively!

These are some good tips. I especially like the ones about junk food and soda - many of us don't realize that these things are often more expensive than their healthy alternatives. Good list.

Interesting tips. Some easier said than done...and while I already have a child, and it sounds nice to have double savings, I wouldn't have let that fact stop me... I'll just mention it to my son when he gets older and complains about money, haha.
