Pretension reigns
Dimestore Psychologist who stands
Round my table
Complaining of the cold
Wind that bites his belly
Snake-skinned shoes
Wonder how the snake feels
Probably in good company
I'm paid to be nice to you
You slight curvature of my
Spine I'd rather slide
Downstairs in the boiler room
Charred from small-talk about
Drizzling rain you rain man
All over my personal pretty
Parade I'm tired of the hook
In my lips-puppet

Is this worth 6.75 an hour to pay attention to your blather?

Very nice poem. Unfortunately, there are a lot of snakes in the grass.

Yes, Lisa. Blokes like this are a dime a dozen! Another good job!
