Galleria Dallas Annual Holiday Celebration

The Galleria, located at 13350 Dallas Parkway in Dallas, isn't just a place to shop for holiday Gifts. It's also a Christmas show in and of itself. Each year a huge Christmas tree is assembled in the middle of the ice rink on the lower level. This enormous glass-roofed mall features a huge holiday extravaganza each year. The Galleria's ice skating Santa Claus named "Missile Toes" performs amazing stunts on the ice while fireworks shoot of of his skates. A choreographed show precedes the lighting of the Galleria's enormous Christmas tree. Carolers and other musicians often perform inside the center. Specialized technology allows the lights to "dance" to the music.

Dallas Fair Park in Lights

A holiday walk through Fair Park in Dallas is a great way to have Christmas fun. Each year in December the Esplanade Fountain, thirty-three Christmas trees and many buildings in Big Tex Circle are lit up. Come and watch the Hall of State, the Automobile Building and Centennial Hall glitter. You can also bring a new, unwrapped toy to donate to the "Navidad in the Neighborhood" toy drive. Drop-off is at the Old Mill Inn. This light show begins in early December and continues on through New Years'.
