It seems like everyone wants a MySpace tracker on their MySpace profile these days. For those of you who are not familiar with MySpace or MySpace trackers, a MySpace tracker is simply a tool that tracks visitors to your profile. Why is this important? Well, the fact that MySpace currently doesn't allow you to know who is viewing your profile is more than enough reason for some people to want it.

Despite what you might have heard in chat room or forums, there is no working MySpace tracker. However there are a few sites that will help you get some information about who is viewing your MySpace profile. The key word being "some information".

Remember that MySpace trackers are blocked almost as quickly as their makers put them out there for you to use. MySpace trackers are still against MySpace's terms of service and their privacy policy. Not to mention that fact that you're compromising the security of your computer and MySpace account when you download any kind of foreign program onto your computer.

About the best MySpace tracker information that you can expect to get these days will be statistics, or stats about who is viewing your account. Meaning, you'll be able to know how many people visited your profile on any given day... or whether certain people viewed it more than once.

I've included links and a short summary of what each stat counter or MySpace tracker does. If you have any questions, please direct them to the owners of the respective sites. And remember, if something sounds too good to be true, it probably is!

Mr. Createblog created a Xanga profile tracker more than two years ago. And now he's offering a MySpace tracker. Here's a list of the features this MySpace tracker offers:

Takeaways
  • MySpace trackers are against MySpace's TOS and privacy policy.
  • Never buy a MySpace tracker - it's a waste of money and could get your MySpace account deleted.
  • Use a stat counter instead to track visitors and where they're coming from.

As a matter of fact, I can identify any myspace user who comes to my page, visits my bulletins, or that I send mail. Service provides a list with dates and times, ip/user matching, easily pasted invisible image links for tracking, and can also email the records weekly. Works to identify any myspace user. Can be used as many times as you like. Setting up is fairly simple I guarantee it to work or your money back. I do agree with the other members, that all of the commercially available "trackers" are either scams or non-functioning. I do not believe there is anyone else who knows how to do this, so instead of wasting 100s of dollars, like thousands of others, to find out that you have been scammed, send me an email for the real thing. I'd be willing show you how to track whoever comes to your site and even track through myspace mail or bulletins. Cost is $50 USD. Send me an e-mail with payment (paypal, etc) or discussion if you're interested: Jon Email: jc1engineer

Mmmmm what a good cookie!! Any who... I have a question for those of you that are using the MixMap visitor tracker. Why are some of my visitors different colors? When I visit my own profile I'm coming up as a Blue thumb tack. Then I've got 2 that are coming up as Red and the rest (99% of my visitors) are coming up as Yellow.... no information on this is given on their site explaining WHY... Thanks vvvvsharkvvvv@yahoo.com

I began looking for a way to track who was visiting my MySpace page (without putting an ad on there and messing the look all up, plus, I don't really want everyone to know that they are getting tracked) about 6 months ago. I tried several trackers, and didn't like many of them. The one I found to be the best is TrackSpace.net. It doesn't capture every visit, but does capture most of them, and significantly more than other trackers. It's pretty popular, so that cuts down on the work that you have to do in the beginning. I would suggest you post the informaiton for it in a bulletin, so when your friends sign up you don't have to do any work in identifying them. If you don't want to give it to all your friends, just message them privately. Sometime's it's a slow start, but you'll appreciate having the information later. I found out that my ex was checking my page (literally) daily, so I was able to block him. Good luck!!!
