The 10 Best Songs of 2007

The end of 2007 is slowly approaching. Although there were not too many good songs released this year, I personally believe that some have stood out far more than all of the others. The songs that I have chosen as the 10 best songs of 2007 are ones that I consider to be fine examples of songs that have stood out from all the rest this year.

10. "Big Girls Don't Cry" by Fergie

There is no doubt that Fergie has done some really wonderful songs ever since she has decided to do some of her own solo work. However, I think that "Big Girls Don't Cry" is an exceptionally good song for Fergie. One of the main reasons is because it allows us to see what she is fully capable of. The first time that I heard "Big Girls Don't Cry," I really could not believe that this was the same girl who did "My Humps" with the Black Eyed Peas. This in itself is the reason that Fergie has earned herself a spot on the top 10 songs of 2007 list.

9."Give it to Me" by Timbaland, Nelly Furtado and Justin Timberlake

If I had to choose a song that I would consider the best collaboration of the year, I would choose "Give it to Me," by Timbaland, Nelly Furtado and Justin Timberlake. I think that this song features three vocalists, who are all truly talented in their own way. Although I believe that each of these vocalists are awesome by themselves, they are truly amazing together. "Give it to Me" is a fine example of how well three entirely different artists can blend together.

8. "No One" by Alicia Keys

2007 was a year of comebacks for many artists, but one of the most notable is Alicia Keys. The single that Alicia Keys released this year, called "No One," has truly been a hit. I must say that I personally was not too fond of this song the first few times I heard it, but after awhile it just sort of grew on me. I think that Alicia Keys has an awesome voice that can truly be heard in "No One."
