I learned a lot from your article. After reading it and staring at your picture, I am going downstairs right now to pour myself a glass.
Priceless pic, too!
"But,I'm not drinking no damn Merlot."-Sideways what's his name, the same guy that was in M.Night Shamalayn or however you spell it. Anyway I still think of that movie and laugh at the quote every time I see Merlot-which is my fav, too, Michy.(and white sauce pasta dishes-we can't have the same favs-off my cloud, girl. JJ) More to the point, thanks for the tip, we'll be trying it. Nice to paydown every once-in-a-while and still get quality. Great intro paragraph.
Nice article. I like Arbor Mist (after a very bad experience with that cheap Boone's Farm crap or whatever it is) so I feel compelled to trust you on Charles Shaw. Proceeds from my next article will undoubtedly go toward purchasing a bottle.

Bronco (the maker of the Charles Shaw) is run by members of the Franzia wine-making family. They have lots of experience and lots of cheap grapes. That means lots of cheap, good, wine. Also, TJ doesn't mark up the wine 400% like a supermarket would. Another Bronco brand sells for $10 at a local Supermarket, when it's out of the same vat!
Okay, now I feel like a wine snob when I say this, but how can anything that cheap taste good? LOL as for your comment: "The only rule that really matters is this one: Does this wine taste good with this food?" AMEN! I'm so sick of the real wine snobs looking down their noses at me if I order a merlot (my fav) with a white sauce pasta dish - I like it, okay? LOL
