My Razor MS-130 B Scooter: Whether 16 or 60, I Love It
Embed:
One of my favorite toys is the Razor MS-130 B scooter. We purchased it up in New Hampshire when we were visiting family. At the time it was $60 with 50% off. With no sales tax in that state it was a bargain and we had no problems bringing it back on the plane. Len knows how much I like to exercise and this is another way for me. Now this in the perfect time for me to use it, as the summers in Florida are way too hot, not to exercise in air-conditioning.
Sliding it out of the box and putting it together takes seconds. It has a silver lever that you push and the front of the scooter comes up. There is a lever to adjust the height of the handlebars. The handlebars come up and lock into place. You don't have to be a genius to do this.
Then you are ready to go. This scooter is really neat. I always ride it in our sub-division as it has a 15-mile an hour limit and only traffic from people who live here, or are visiting are on the roads. We have a slight slope, but the roads are fairly even. I ride it like any scooter. The only difference is that the brake is over the rear wheel. I do watch for large cracks in the road, or small branches in the road. These could cause me to come off.
Mine is silver aluminum with blue handles, blue wheels, and the blue Razor logo on the scooter, where you put your foot, when riding.
A little more about the product. Some of this has come from the manual.
"This is a single action scooter for folding and unfolding.
It makes it really small for carrying. It comes with a built-in shoulder strap. You can also use the clip for carrying items. I wouldn't recommend it myself.
The back has the rear brake with a protective wheel guard. Stepping on the rear guard will stop the scooter.
Size.
Unfolded length 690 X width 345 X height 940 mm or 27 X 14 X 37 inches.
Folded length 630 X 120 X 185 mm or 25 X 5 X 7 inches.
Weighing approximately 2.8 kg or 6 lbs."
The suggested weight for a rider is 100 kg, so I am okay. It came with a 90-day warranty, but I have found no problems what so ever with the product.
