Theres alot of Sports teams in the Nation and with the talent on all these teams weather Pro or college to take anything away from any of those athletes. However when I start to think of one team in particular, I'm immediately drawn to a team I followed quite closely throughout the year The Hawaii Warriors of the WAC conference in the NCAA. For starters the Quarterback Colt Brennan one of the most efficient passers in NCAA history. Holding numerous NCAA records such as Most completions in a quarter 19, set in the first game of the 2007 season a game against Northern Colorado also in that same game he set the record for most completions in a half at 34 and touchdown passes in a half 6 all 3 records set in 1 game alone. With passing records set you need a great receiving crew witch Hawaii has in Davone Bess, Ryan Grice-Mullen , and Jason Rivers.Colt Brennan also has the Record for most Passing Touchdowns in a season at 63 touchdowns in one season alone. In just 2 seasons he passed for 9,850 yards a NCAA Record as well. This year Colt Brennan was a Heisman Finalist where he took 3rd in the Heisman race of 2007. With players like him and the rest of the Hawaii Team its hard to argue their performance wasn't better than any other team in the NCAA the only team in the NCAA to go unbeaten the entire year. In a year were we saw great teams be upset week after week Hawaii stayed immune to the upset bug and finished there season perfect.

Takeaways
  • Record setting year for Hawaii Warriors football program.
  • Colt Brennan sets 20 total NCAA passing Records
  • Best Season in Hawaii Warriors School History
Did You Know?
Colt Brennan Sets NCAA single sean passing record for most touchdowns and Career passing touchdown record as well as Most passing yards in a single season for 2 years straight.

They played one of the softest schedules in all of college football. Let's not heap the praise before we see what they're capable of against Georgia and FR running back Moreno. Brennan is a servicable QB, but he's also a product of that offensive scheme and that was evidenced when the back up had a huge game when Brennan was out. There are better teams in 2007 - the New England Patriots perhaps? Maybe the Florida Gators basketball team? The San Antonio Spurs? No disrespect, but this article seems written by a homer for homers...
