The Upper Valley being refered to here is mainly to include from Newbury Vermont south to the Norwich Vermont area, It also includes the New Hampshire property along the Conneticut river valley the river serves as the boundry seperating Vermont and New Hampshire this is where the Upper Valley originates, it has recently  within the last 2 years had a large numbers of  home and land sales at prices alot higher than the normal for this area, the increase has been refered to as  an explosion and over inflated by some. The realtors of the area have been in a scramble to aquire the many sales in these recent good times. There are many who are wondering if this will put many in a position of not being able to afford the inflated prices, also bringing on a frenzy so to speak of purchase the land now before the prices get any higher. Many have allready taken advantage of what appears to be  the norm for the cost of real estate in the Upper Valley in Vermont and New Hampshire.

The area boasts many fine establishments The Dartmouth College in Hanover New Hampshire is world renowned and offers a complete college service, next is the Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center  also known around the world as one of the finest hospitals in the Upper Valley , recently began construction of a brand new Cancer Center to further there allready advanced research in this field of medicine. There have been a few newspaper articles in the local newspapers circulating in the Upper Valley area, with articles written in reference to the large number of sales at prices way above the normal sales in the area. There have been a number of complaints about the overinflation of these sales causeing appraisals to be out of line  with reference to other properties without all the amenities of those which sold in the same area being taxed  at a price not sufficient to warrant justification on these properties in that same area.
