Is Ted Haggard's Former Church Involved in a Cover-up?

Is New Life Church trying to cover up for cowards? We all know the bravery of the female guard who shot Matthew Murray. According to Larry Bourbonnais who was hurt in the attack, that just might be the case. Apparently Bourbonnais went on TV after the shootings last week at the former Church of Ted Haggard, and said there were two armed guards just standing there doing nothing. "They said I denigrated the security staff and made them look bad," When Bourbonnais showed up for church he was asked by the police to leave, and told he was not welcome there anymore.

Pastor Boyd has even said they are going to get a restraining order, though they would not say why. Could it be to make him look bad for free speech? Is Pastor Boyd there to shut down anyone with questions about Haggard or anything else that comes along? It just might be.

As a Christian, this disturbs me. It disturbs me that a man who spoke what he saw is being penalized for it. This same church, however, would welcome the male escort of Ted Haggard. Isn't that strange? I think this church is nothing but a façade, and I dare say, an intimidating one. Look at Haggard, who founded the Church, they forced him to leave town. It is one thing to require him to leave the Church, but town?

Not to say that the new Pastor is any different, although not political, he has serious "love" issues and loves to take verbal swipes at people.

I think New Life is having issues and it is in a state of denial about its lack of "love" and "tolerance."

Where will New Life be if Bourbonnais sues them for the injuries he suffered with all those armed guards around?
