The dream of fame is the dream of many. We all crave the limelight. Our desire to walk down velvet red carpets, be surrounded by flashing lights, and be kept in awe by those watching us walk by is the life that we wish to have. We wish to be famous. We want the world to know us, but this desire is only a dream that most never live.

The ordinary life is one that most of us have to live. There is no living without work, without making ends meet. We have to do what we have to do to live life, but the life that we live is not the life that we dreamed. We lost sight of that somewhere down this road, and we can feel the void within us begging for a taste, a touch of the limelight. But what could we do to make fame find us?

In The Life and Death of Fame, a single, blank business card appears on the windshield of Holly Durden's car. It catches her attention, and she has no idea that lettering would slowly appear on it like it was a magic trick. She has no idea that this card would lead fame to her doorstep. However, is she ready to pay the price of being famous and shedding the ordinary life?

A suspenseful tale written by Tony Cowger, we follow Holly on her journey into fame. A chance trip to Hollywood lands in her lap and opens the gates to the life that she only dreamed. Beyond these gates, she finds everything her heart desires, and the world begins to crave more of her. But fame comes with a price, a price that could cost Holly her life.

As the journey into fame rises and falls like every breath from Holly captured in the moments of bliss and fear, we do stumble across a few errors in writing. However, the need to know more of Holly and her mysterious fame broker quickly pushes these obstacles aside, and once again, we are absorbed within the journey. Will fame keep to Holly's side, or is this all but a dream, a trickery of some kind?

And as the tale comes to an end, we are left wondering. What would we do for fame? What would we do if given the chance for it to find us? Would we grab onto it instantly, or would we fear the price that we would have to pay in the end? What would we do if we could become famous?
