Strengthen Intuition With Meditation
Meditation is by far the best way to strengthen your intuition. Simply set aside 10 to 20 minutes a day to sit quietly and empty your mind. This will be difficult at first because you may have a lot of mind chatter that keeps distracting you. But over time, you will begin to feel more in tune with your inner wisdom, which is where your intuitive insights come from. Meditating for a few minutes before you perform tarot readings can also clear away scattered thoughts and put you in a relaxed state of mind, which will automatically heighten your sensitivity.
Memorize Basic Tarot Card Meanings
Believe it or not, memorizing the general meanings for each card in your tarot deck can help boost your intuition because you’ll be able to focus more on subtle insights you get from each card, rather than struggling to remember the card meanings, or having to check the book each time. Memorizing the card meanings isn’t too difficult if you identify mental triggers with each card. Study the general meaning from the book that came with your tarot deck, and then find a symbolic element on the card that will remind you of its meaning. Then test your memory by going through the deck card by card, trying to recall the meanings. It will take some time and consistent practice, but before long you’ll have a solid grasp of the basic meanings.
