Ever since Batman Begins I have longed for a sequel...and The Dark Knight is it. In the trailer you will see everything from Batman to the Joker but this itself is only a tease as it seems we not only have Joker as a Villain but Scarecrow and a possible Two-Face as made evident since Aaron Eckhart Joined the cast as D.A. Harvey Dent.

The trailer primarily focuses on Heath Ledger's Joker. The first words you hear are his voice. "You've changed things...forever. There's no going back. See, to them, you're just a freak...Like me!" And as he rolls out the laughter afterwards you can only think this will be the most original if not best incarnation of Joker since Jack Nicholson. But I must admit I am rather partial to the Bruce Timm animated version of the Joker.

From then on we go in to the typical part of a trailer. Gun, explosions, and stuff like that. We are greeted with a few surprises. We see Batman's new "Bat-pot" as it has been called across the web, his new costume, (it seems he will be wearing both the old and new ones in the movie) and the new actress replacing Katie Holmes, Maggie Gyllenhaal. And I must say she bears a striking resemblance to Katie Holmes if not prettier.

There is one very noticeable thing in the trailer. And that is the make up of the Joker. In all other past incarnations, from his first appearance in comics on up, the Joker's green hair and white skin has always been a permanent thing. You see, it is not make-up the Joker is wearing, that is just how he looks. In The Dark Knight on the other hand it seems to be just make-up. But I like this. It gives a more sinister look about him. The make-up always looks like it is running off...it's great.

In the trailer there is a really cool scene showing Joker looked up and Commissioner Gordon speaks." No name, no other alias. Nothing in his pockets but knives and lent." Afterwards we see Joker clapping. It's a slow ominous clap screaming for disaster to strike. And I can not wait to see what that is. With Christopher Nolan back in the Director seat I have nothing but faith in the movie. It really just seems he can do no wrong. And I can't wait for the ride the movie will be.

For Jack, the Joker was only the 7'th or 8'th most crazy person he played. For someone like Ledger who's never been associated with insane characters before, he can really make this his own.
