Consider this the ultimate Battle of the Bright Whites...Crest Whitestrips versus the latest contender in teeth whitening, Aquafresh White Trays. While there have been various whitening products popping up in the market lately, these two are reportedly the most popular amongst consumers. But which whitening system is the most effective and easy-to-use? Continue reading to find out.

Crest Whitestrips
Crest Whitestrips, a registered product of the Proctor & Gamble Company, were the original go-to whitening adhesive that claimed to keep your teeth ultra white for up to one year. Since the beginning of their reign with the Whitestrips Classic, Crest has released other products like Whitestrips Premium. The Premium package takes less time for results and is more powerful of a formula. These worked the best out of the different Crest products I tried (even better than the whitening toothpastes). However, there are a couple negatives. First off, Crest Whitestrips can make your teeth and gums sensitive for a short time after using the strips. Also, they can temporarily turn your gums white (which, if you don't know that ahead of time, can freak you out)! The other downside of using Crest Whitestrips is the fact that they don't stay securely on your teeth. It's uncomfortable to wear both the upper and lower strips simultaneously, because you're constantly trying to situate the strips into their proper places while also holding back your saliva (as too much spit will lessen the stickiness of the substance or adhesive on the strips). Overall, Crest Whitestrips are worth your time and money if you can handle the daily hour-long (total) discomfort.
