Here are some resources to keep you up-to-date on the latest road conditions in Boston, Massachusetts. The Boston road conditions also cover the roads going in and out of Boston.

MassPike.com Travel and Road Conditions

MassPike Travel and Road Conditions covers current road conditions for Boston tunnels including City Square (CANA) Tunnel, the Callahan Tunnel, and the Sumner Tunnel.

MassPike Travel and Road Conditions also covers the Leverett Connector, I-93 northbound, I-93 southbound, and I-90 westbound,

The traffic reports on MassPike Travel and Road Conditions are only updated during the work week and only during heavy traffic hours. The updates occur every half hour Mondays through Fridays from 5am until 9am and from 3pm until 6pm.

The T and Winter Weather

The T is at the heart of the public transportation system in Boston. If you rely on it to get everywhere, including work, be sure to check the MBTA.com web site for their transit updates and current weather alerts.

When winter weather and snow strikes, the MBTA actually adds subway and bus services, easing traffic congestion and road conditions. They also go operate 24 hours a day, according to the MBTA, in order to keep the rails from freezing over.

The MBTA also has 30 snow routes during that are activated based on the weather. Before heading out check the MBTA.com to check if the snow routes have been activated.

Also be aware that it may take more time than normal to get where you're going, leave early.
