Why the GOP Cares More About Paris Hilton Than Mel Gibson Cares About Jews

The Passion of the Gibson

Pity poor Mel Gibson. First he’s attacked for making an anti-semitic movie about the famous Jew of all time, then he’s forced to defend himself against the sins of his father, a dedicated and outspoken Holocaust denier. Now it’s gotten even worse. Mel Gibson was arrested on DUI charges, and as if that weren’t enough it is has now gone beyond the rumor stages to the probably true stage that he went on an profanity-laden anti-semitic rant during his arrest. A copy of an allegedly authentic police report claims that Mel Gibson asserted that the Jews are responsible for all the wars in the world. Mel, Mel, Mel…if only you’d said that the Jews are responsible for the current war you wouldn’t be facing the prospect that your career is about to come to an end simply because there are some people in Hollywood who might consider you a fascist little Nazi. But to say that the Jews are responsible for all the wars? I don’t even think Hitler would have bought that.

Two Dollars for the Poor, Two Million for the Rich

Just who is responsible for writing all that Wikipedia content?

Takeaways
  • There is no verse in the Bible that exhorts Christians to support Israeli terrorism.
  • Wikipedia went over the million article mark this week; almost a thousand are fully accurate.
  • Ann Coulter says Bill Clinton is gay; payback for getting shot down by him, I guess.
Did You Know?
There actually is a Republican with a sense of humor. Robert Wexler. Too bad he's the only one.

I think Ann Coulter has a thing for Bill Clinton. Or maybe they already had a thing. All that hate-fille rhetoric over the years could be hiding a long-burning torch. Maybe he rocked her world once after a night of Jack and Cokes at and he never called her back. Maybe she's mad because he broke up with her to run for office because he had to "marry a Jackie, not a Marilyn" and there was a little more to "Legally Blonde" than we thought. C'Mon, Ann, there's other fish in the sea.

Some good thoughts here. It's interesting to note that members of Hezbollah, and the state of Israel both worship essentially the same God... Food for thought.
