According to Crazy 8, they provide "cool clothes for kids' crazy lives from sizes 0 to 14," because "Life is crazy...8 days a week!" Crazy 8 is a new division of Gymboree, but with lower prices. The cost of Crazy 8 clothes is 30% less than the wildly popular Gymboree clothing line.

Crazy 8 offers stylish clothing for babies, toddlers, and kids at reasonable prices. Crazy 8's clothing line is fun, cute, and comfortable for every day wear. Long sleeve tee's start at 2 for $6.

Canvas, khaki, and denim bottoms are priced around $16.50. Cute and cuddly fleece hoodies cost $6.99 to $24.50.

Crazy 8 even sells shoes, socks, and other accessories. Sleepwear starts at $6.99 for two piece pajamas.

A complete outfit can be purchased at Crazy 8 for $25 - $35 or less. Crazy 8 outfits newborns to child's size 14, boys and girls.

They offer a perk for shopping parents. Parents don't have to chase toddlers playing peek-a-boo between clothing racks. Every Crazy 8 store has a television in the back in an area designed for kids to watch T.V. while parents shop. I don't know if the viewing area is supervised, or if I would use it. At least, however, the store makes an effort to make the shopping experience easier.

Gymboree made an astute marketing move opening a brand name store, associated with Gymboree. This move is akin to Gap and Old Navy's correlation and Abercrombie & Fitch's relationship with Hollister. These corporations have had incredible success offering a slightly cheaper alternative to their more expensive clothing lines.

The first Crazy 8 store opened August 2007. The Gymboree Corporation plans to have 20 stores operational by the end of fiscal 2007. Until then, you can shop online at www.crazy8.com.

Good info to know. Thanks for the update since I'm not in the know about kids in that age group any more. Much appreciated! Excellent prices, too.

Thanks for the info! I had not heard about this. We never shop at Gymboree because it is just too expensive, but maybe this new store would be more in our range.

I love Gymboree, but the prices are too high for me most of the time. I have bought some really great items on clearance from them, the quality is wonderful. I will definitely check out Crazy 8!

One store I doubt I'll ever need to shop at. My imaginary kids will just stick to imaginary clothing.
