I'm a bad daughter-in-law! I didn't send anything to my mother-in-law. Not yet, anyway. She lives on the other side of the country, and I've only ever met her once, at the wedding. My husband isn't close to her. It's not a big deal if we keep in touch or not, since I don't really think of her as a mother-in-law, only by blood. She's nice though. When we get back on our feet, I'll start being a better DIL.
