It is time for Christmas and you have not got a thing yet for your brother who is in college. Here are four ideas to help you out.

1.) Buy one of his textbooks for next semester. If anyone has seen the price of textbooks these days, you could swear that they are made of gold. So any help from family and friends would be very appreciative. Just get his class schedule for next semester and head to the university bookstore online and find which books he needs for next semester. Copy the ISBN numbers and titles down for each book. Then head over to directtextbook.com to compare prices using the ISBN number. Find the best price and you can send it to your brother with a quick of a button. If the college bookstore's site only has titles, then just Google the title to find the ISBN number.

2.) Buy a Visa or MasterCard gift card. Your brother is in college and most likely does not have a lot of money to spend. So free money for them is like nirvana. It allows them to stack up on the things that they need and not have to worry about their basic necessities. Giftcards.com is a great place to find one because they allow you to load up the card with whatever value you want and they send it to your brother.

3.) I bet your brother spends a lot of late nights cramming for tests. Times like those call for coffee and Starbucksstore.com is the best place for that situation. You can buy all types of coffee, coffee equipment, or even some yummy hot cocoa. Better yet, if your brother has a Starbucks card, they allow you to reload it online. On the Starbucks.com site, you can buy a gift card for your brother if he does not have one already. You can have them ship it to your brother when you pick the other recipient option.

4.) For those music lovers, a great bet is an iTunes gift card from the Apple store. There are gifts ranging from $25 to $100 and they all ship within 24 hours. This way, they can load up their iPods with their favorite artists and they have you to thank for their great gift.

Remember the idea is to get something that they can use and enjoy. They will thank you and remember which person made their Christmas extra special.

Great ideas! My brother, David, is in college. I bought him a bottle of cologne and had earned him enough on his netwinner account for a $25 debit mastercard. :) I showed him last night how to redeem for it - and he's happy! I hope it helps with books and gas, etc.
