Comprehensive Management Training Program
Pre-Development Training Program
There are five steps to a pre-development training program which include Needs Analysis, Instructional Design, Validation, Implement, and Evaluation. Needs Analysis: NL&C needs to have a training program that will train managers how to handle issues and challenges from clients and employees. Instructional Design: There are many different types of instructional designs such as internet learning, educational videos, professional training, etc. The methods I recommend for NL&C are listed in the following slide. Validation: If there are problems with the training program, then this is where the problems will be worked out. I will discuss some issues that might arise in the following slides. Implement: After all of the kinks have been worked out, NL&C will then implement this training program to all of its employees. Evaluation: This is the step where the whole training program is evaluated including its issues/challenges and success.
Interpersonal communication is currently a problem between some of NL&Cs departments. The vendors and some of the clients of NL&C avoid communication because there seems to be a lack of knowledge on the manager's part.
The Human Resource department receives a lot of phone calls from employees questioning their benefits. If NL&C can teach the managers what the benefits consist of, then the employees will be able to ask their managers instead of the human resource department.
Customer satisfaction and customer service go hand in hand when a company is growing the way NL&C is. As I mentioned before, some clients avoid calling certain departments for questioning since they know the managers will not know how to handle their question. NL&C must train the managers if they want their business to grow.
