Ultimate Boot CD

The Ultimate Computer Diagnostic Tool

Anyone who has ever worked with computers knows when a problem occurs it could be any number of things that could be causing your problem. Now the hard part is diagnosing what is actually causing your machine to have problems. Is it a hardware issue? Or is it
something to do with the operating system? Your job is to figure this out, you can do it the old fashioned way, which is by guess and check, but who wants to waste their time with that when there are free tools that can make your job a million times easier.

This is where Ultimate Boot CD comes into play. Ultimate Boot CD is a powerful tool you can download and burn to a CD that helps you diagnose problems with machines. Ultimate Boot CD works with any computer that has a CD-ROM drive. You can get your own free copy at www.ultimatebootcd.com. There is a lot of great information about Ultimate Boot CD on the website as well and I suggest reading the bugs and work arounds section before getting started. The tutorials section is good to read also, it includes instructions on burning the program to a bootable CD.

Now let me tell you what Ultimate Boot CD can do for you. First you must download the program and burn the ISO image file to a CD. Then put the CD into any machine with a problem, make sure that the computer BIOS is set to boot to CD-ROM first. The tool will open in a Graphical User Interface that is fairly simple to use even for less advanced users.

You get 10 options in the first Ultimate Boot CD work interface. These options are as follows, Main board Tools, for finding problems with your motherboard and components associated with it. Hard disk tools, for diagnosing problems with your hard drives, such as bad sectors or possibly issues with drivers. File system tools will help you to diagnose problems with your Operating system. User-defined tools are something I haven’t worked with but if it’s on Ultimate Boot CD it is useful!
