Leading an Eco-Friendly Life

The earth's environment is severely damaged and extend of damage is simply unimaginable. It is caused by various human interferences on the nature. We are knowingly or unknowingly participating in this destructive activity. Every nook and corner of the earth we can see the proof of
 selfish human motive.

Take the case of Ozone layer. It is depleting faster than ever causing skin cancers and other issues to human creatures. Global warming is a dire consequence of an unbalanced environment. Unexpected reaction from nature on our over exploitation of natural resources for selfish motives have caused sudden floods and hurricane in many parts of the world. Over a period of time many species have become extinct and still many other species are disappearing from earth. Remember, man alone cannot survive on this earth.

Let us turn our attention towards the positive actions we can take to prevent the earth becoming an unsafe place for our future generations. Following are some suggestions when applied can reduce the impact on our environment.

Use whatever reusable or rechargeable. Avoid things, which are disposable as far as possible. Learn about the alternatives we can have instead of using disposable items. For e.g., if you are constantly using disposable dry cell batteries for your electronic equipments, why can't you use a rechargeable battery? Every used battery you throw away can cause damage to our environment. The same is applicable for plastic disposable items. Take the case of disposable shaving set. Instead of using that let us use reusable shaving set where only blades are replaced.

Excellent article. I don't think everyone understands how serious global warming is. More articles like this should be written to help educate everyone.
