Most men dream about raising a family but alot of those men find themselves stuck between fear and happiness once they realize that they are having a baby. This impending fear is normal amongst new fathers and it is actually very normal. Identifying and adressing your fears will and can help you get through the akward anxiety of bringing a new baby into the world. We all usually walk through life feeling as if we are invincible to the worst. Dying most of the time doesn't even run through our minds until we find out that there will be someone else depending on us. This is actually a good thing to think about. This allows you to take your responsibilities alot more seriously. Alot of men find that being needed creates a sense of wantedness.
Being Finanacial scared is the number issue that most men face when preparing for fatherhood. Not being financially stable enough or feeling as if planning for the future has to happen NOW, is something we all face. To know that you are bringing another member into your family usually causes for more money. The smart thing to do under these circumstances is to review your monthly income and create a new budget.
To be able to have the option of running away from your relationship if things get rocky is about to become a tab bit harder due to you having a little person depending on you. Some men if not most men have always had that question in the back of their mind about what if? Sorry to say but this is something that you aren't going to be able to run from. Your main priority is to make your relationship an home as happy as possible.
The fear of losing your spouses love and attention is what most men think about. For the first year or so, you will find that your spouse is being more attentive to the baby than they are you. This is normal and over time, it will get better. As the child gets older, you will eventually dote back to one on one time.
