If you love the tropics and the moderate price range more suits your budget, then Caribbean Beach is the place for you. The property is vast and wonderful for long tranquil walks. Pineapples abound as the sign of hospitality as do palm trees, vibrant colors of the Caribbean and white sand beaches. And for the Pirates of the Caribbean lovers in your family, there's the town square at Port Royale where pirates and cannons are represented with the Disney magic and charm. Even the main pool is in the form of a moat around a castle, iron bars and all bordering the waterslide.Just as with all the moderate resorts, there are different regions where a guest may request to stay. At Caribbean Beach, guests may choose among the unique islands: Martinique, Barbados, Trinidad North, Trinidad South, Aruba, and Jamaica. While the layout of each "island" is identical, with a pool, clock tower, and beach all of its own, the colors vary. Martinique, closest to the main pool and Port Royale (a little noisy as a result) sports a bright blue coat of paint and vivid red roof. Barbados is in the color of cheery plum, the two Trinidad islands are colored light pink, Aruba is in the shade of purple and Jamaica sports a gorgeous yellow color with blue roof and white rails. All "islands" are situated around a lagoon where paddleboats or kayaks can be rented for water fun. Though the grounds are not as lush as those to be found at other resorts, it is nonetheless inviting, colorful, and a pleasure to stay at. Rooms are clearly tropical, and as far as décor one of my favorites, with bright hues for bedspreads, light-colored furniture, bold painted flowers and visions of the Caribbean hung on the walls. All buildings are two-story and for the most part, they all have a great view; it's not necessary to spend the extra money to get a poolside room when garden rooms are cheaper and quieter as well. Each individual region, as aforementioned, has a private white sand beach and playground with a view to the lagoon.
