Britney Spears Wants Her Kids to Be Tested for Drugs

The Spears Empire built on media is growing and stories are happening left and right. Britney's little sister Jamie Lynn is pregnant at only 16 years old and Britney is entangled in a slightly messy child custody case. Britney has trouble making a favorable impression on courts as she fails to fall through with appointments and continues to catch media's attention by performing outrageous acts in front of the camera.

After having her kids temporarily removed from her custody, Britney has been going for regular drug testing. With unsuccessful attempts, K-Fed's determination to dig dirt up on Britney is failing as she turns the tables this time.

Life&Style magazine is reporting that Britney is wanting to have her children drug tested. Why? She believes ex-hubby Kevin Federline is using marijuana around the children, Sean Preston, 2, and Jayden, 1.

Britney has been suspecting drug use due to the smell marijuana gives when burned. She is asking her laywers if they will allow testing to be done to determine whether or not he is using drugs.

If allowed, during her visitations Britney has been advised to clip a portion of her children's hair in which then testing can be done up to two days after being exposed to second-hand marijuana.

All in all, it's only fair game to Britney to step up as a mother and take control of the situation and expose K-Fed's usage. Complaints have been made in the past concerning the failed rapper's marijuana use. However, K-Fed is claimed to smoke a lot of pot but never around the children. Testing positive could cause Brit's ex-lover to lose custody of their children. Testing positive could also mean more problems for Britney as she is monitored for drug and alcohol abuse as well. Their children could potentially go to foster care or with a relative of the couple until further court decisions are made.

If Spears' children test positive for second-hand marijuana smoke, Britney's team of lawyers will call an emergency hearing. Results take a short amount of time to come back but must be performed within two days after being exposed to the marijuana.
