Surprise your kids by making a batch of edible play dough, and after they make a few fun shapes, they will enjoy eating their tasty creations.

Precautions Regarding Edible Play Dough

If your kids are allergic to milk products, they can still enjoy a batch of edible play dough. Simply substitute all-purpose white flour for powdered milk in the following recipes that contain instant dry milk.

Due to the risk of choking, edible play dough isn’t appropriate for children under the age of three years, and all children should be properly supervised when playing with and consuming edible play dough.

Edible Peanut Butter Play Dough

Kids love the taste of peanut butter, and peanut butter combined with a couple of other nutritious ingredients makes fantastic edible play dough. Make this fun and tasty dough for your kids. They’ll have as fun eating this dough after they’re finished playing with their yummy edible creations.

To make a batch of edible peanut butter play dough you’ll need one cup of creamy peanut butter, one-quarter cup of honey, and one cup of instant dry milk. Combine these ingredients, and knead the dough until it reaches the proper consistency.

Edible Flavored Play Dough

This dough can be combined with any flavor extract to match any color you desire. Surprise your kids with a few different flavors. They’ll have fun combining flavors to make their very own yummy varieties.

Make a batch of edible flavored dough by combining one-third cup of margarine, one-third cup of light corn syrup, and one half teaspoon of salt. After these ingredients are well blended, add one and a half cups of confectioner’s sugar, and knead the dough until it reaches the right consistency.
