The Plight of Hip Hop

Young black men do not have a really good reputation due to being plagued with stereotypes, racism and the smutty content that they release in their music. Instead of being condemned for such music, they are being paid millions and praised for their use of language and terms to women. The same culture that finds such disgraceful decorum typical and acceptable is the first to disdainfully refute the actions and words as stereotype and racism when performed or stated by others outside the black race. These artists seem to not have an issue with objectifying their women and their fans are paying them to do it.
It reminds me of a masochist's relationship with his Mistress that he pays to humiliate abuse and denounce him to that of an animal. Hey I am not the one to judge how one finds sexual gratification or in this case character defining via vulgarities and sexual overtones.
However what really has me scratching my head is the fact that some of these black artists absolutely find no harm in degrading their women such as in Nelly's 2004 Tip Drill video that was so raunchy that it was only aired during BET's Uncut, a program for lesser established artists or for videos with adult content not suitable for regular TV audiences.
He has been under criticism for the video which sparked protests with women specifically at Spelman College. Tip Drill is the one of the most sexually perverse videos that hip hop has ever been synonymous with.
It portrays black women in bikinis being objectified, simulating sexual acts and performing in overly grotesque manners. A tip drill in the hip hop community refers to a woman with a beautiful body but an ugly face but of course this title is routine and nothing to be surprised of since hip hop artists rarely care about the qualities of a woman but instead how she looks.
