This is probably the cutest horror ever. It has everything from cute, fluffy Gizmo, a toy store, snow, Christmas, and gremlins! Definitely a must see film every holiday season!
Inventor Rand Peltzer buys a unique pet in a Chinatown curio shop for his son, Billy. The pet care needs to follow three rules: keep it away from bright light, don't get it wet, and never feed it after midnight. Billy names it Gizmo and taking it everywhere but he and his friends begin breaking the rules. Water is spilled on Gizmo, which causes him to produce several mischievous little brothers. They find food after midnight, which causes them to nasty monsters Tagline: Cute. Clever. Mischievous. Intelligent. Dangerous.

Black Christmas (1974) AKA "Silent Night, Evil Night"
This is a cult classic slasher film from the 70s that needs very, if any, introduction. A madman is killing girls, who are living in a sorority house, one by one. It turns out the killr is inside the house!
Not everyone likes it but it has a big following, which has given it a cult status. It even has a remake but the writers changed too much of what made the original great. The original was quite controversial back in the day with the depicthions of killing during the Christmas season and Margot Kidder's potty mouth.
Tagline: The sort of Christmas you don't dream of.

Jack Frost (1996)
This a low-budget B, almost C, movie that caused some controversy after Michael Keaton's family movie of the same name caused parents to rent this gory horror instead.
A prisoner escapes during the winter, only to get covered in toxic waste and turning him into snow. He uses this power to turn into a killer snowman and goes on a killing spree in a small country town. He kills each person in a unique way, such as string of lights, icicles, carrots, and more!
This might not be a good movie but it, surprisingly, has become somewhat of a cult following. It's surprising because most low-budget films, especially horor, don't get a broad audience.
Tagline: He's chillin...and killin
