Are you considering a trip to Istanbul, Turkey? Great! But I would like to warn all the travellers against making reservations at a hotel called, "Sultanahmet Suites" (sometimes written, "Sultanahmetsuites", as well), in Istanbul, Turkey. I would like to make sure every potential tourist to Istanbul or Turkey gets this message. Thus I decided to spend some time to write a new, more thorough warning review of this hotel, although I have recently written some critical reviews of this hotel. It takes a lot of time to write, proofread and submit a review, as you know, but you feel compelled to write when you find something really terrible. This hotel, Sultanahmet Suites, is just that bad. After travelling to all the 5 continents in the world and staying at many hotels, from zero to five stars, I conclude that Sultanahmet Suites in Istanbul, Turkey, belongs to the lowest of the lowest quality group.

First of all, please do not be misled by the name of the hotel. "Sultanahmet" Suites is NOT located in Sultanahmet despite its name, but in another community of Istanbul called, "Kadirga". It is a "working class" neighborhood, according to a Turkey tourism expert, at the bottom of a long steep hill. It takes about 15-30 minutes of an uphill walk to go to major destinations, such as Sultanahmet and Topkapi. Climbing such a steep hill can be quite tiring unless you are fit and used to it. Since Sultanahmet Suites is surrounded by local houses, you hear babies crying and someone snoring in the rooms across a narrow alley. You also see women hanging laundry when you look out of the window. This is a real residential district of local people. There are vegetable shops and small restaurants in the vicinity. The merchants are welcoming, in general. But don't expect you will find things you would find on the tourist-friendly Sultanahmet streets.

Sultanahmet Suites still continues its shameful conducts!!! **************************************************************************************** As you may have noticed, the owners of Sultanahmet Suites keep posting irrational and rude ramblings on this site. They are hopeless and pathetic people. They never try to learn from past mistakes but, instead, keep attacking people who wrote critical reviews about their outrageous, erratic, and violent behaviors. This is quite unfortunate for them, too, because it could eventually deteriorate their already bad reputation and bring their business to an end.
