How do you find another job when you have been fired because another person litterly hit the forman in the face and used a cauking gun to keep hitting him in the central part of his back. The person that did the hitting was fired right away. And then they fired my husband to. All because my husband cleaned his paint brush and it accidentally fell into a can. Oh yea I can not forget the guy was on drugs and this company knew it and they still hired the bad guy so they can lay off the better paying people and only have to pay the drug addicts way less money. How do you support a family of 3 and now out of health benefits. And we are broke with car payments and all.

And what would your advice be to an unemployed person, just removed from college, who has no savings and is as broke as the nation debt is long? Most of your advice can not or does not healthily apply to such a person, as they are too constrained to return to school (in debtedness), too financially inebriated to save money ( in debtedness) and in such an absymal state that social settings are depressing( did I mention debtedness?) I don't think there is a quick or social fix to the dire unemployed situation. It will take a highly motivated market place, willing to accept all damaged applicants( did you notice how employers now seek a credit check before hiring?) instead of distancing themselves from them.

Singing friends asked me to start a group to sing for pleasure at Nursing homes etc. I put in a lot of preparation and work and got it going. Many say they only want to rehearse once a month!! NO GOOD ! as we cant learn anything new or improve performance. What shall I do????There are nine of us and at least five are dedicated

It is hard to find a job once they find out you have been "terminated" instead of quit. It looks like you are at fault. Any way to get around that? (I was let go because my boss thought I was going to get his job. I didn't do anything wrong.)
