If you suffer from an illness or injury, you have probably experienced the complication associated with pain and inflammation. While many physicians prescribe anti-inflammatories to resolve pain and inflammation, your diet and exercise plan may also play a key role in recovery.

In an effort to sustain a more natural approach to healing, many adults are turning to diet and exercise to resolve complications associated with inflammation. While infection and inflammation can be resolved for many patients, there are some adults who continue to suffer from illness or injury even with the best diet and exercise programs, ultimately requiring the use of anti-inflammatory.

If you suffer from inflammation and mild infection and find that it has not resolved with your transition to a healthy diet and exercise, the underlying culprit may actually involve your weight. As an individual with a high body mass index, BMI, you may be at-risk for poor natural healing response in terms of mild infection and inflammation. Where diet and exercise may resolve the complications of inflammation within your adipose tissue, if you are obese, or extremely overweight, any complications of the muscular tissue will not be affected.

The abnormal relationship between natural healing and natural inflammation reduction may be attributed to the development of excessive amounts of adipose tissue which then prevent transmission of natural healing properties from reaching muscle tissue. Therefore, when meeting with your physician about your specific complications of infection, pain and inflammation, the two most important factors in your healing process may involve your body mass index and the type of inflammation you suffer from. When your body mass index is high, a prescription anti-inflammatory and antibiotic, or other prescription remedy, may be necessary.

Takeaways
  • Diet and exercise are normall considered natural healing activities
  • For obese adults, natural healing processes may not be as effective
  • High BMI results in an inability to effectively manage inflammation
Did You Know?
Adipose tissue responds more readily to the anti-inflammatory properties of diet and exercise in obese adults.

I just wanted to drop in and leave a quick note for you. I srumbled upon your articles a few weeks ago and I must say they are always informative and I am amazed at how many you publish in a day! I am going to have to get your secrets! I am a writer (by profession) and I write many medical related articles and don't have near the speed you appear to have (I say appear because I am not sure if these are produced daily or if you are just publishing articles that you have had written for a while a few at a time).
