Tours are available by boat, which will take the tourist to the volcano where they can then take a hike to the top of the volcano. The National Museum of the Philippines, located in Manila, is one of the many museums located here. This museum is rich with historical and cultural treasures of the Philippines. The museum houses many displays such as the San Diego galleon merit special mention as well as artifacts recovered from the sunken 17th century battleship. There is also a short film available here that looks at the story of the Filipino People. Ayala Center is the high-class center of activity for this area. John's right. I've been to the Philippines recently. Manila's very safe for foreign tourists to travel. All the terrorists are way down the Southern islands and the last I heard, they are dwindling in numbers anyway.

I'm from the Philippines. Manila, except for very few isolated incidents, is relatively safe from terrorists. Yes, extremist, Al-Qeda Muslims do exixt but they are located largely in the Southern area of Philippines.

Aren't the Philipines, like Indonesia and other areas in SE Asia, a hub for terrorist activities?
