I love olive oil and this goes into almost every single recipe that can take this oil. I guess I got this fascination from my mother since the childhood and now after knowing the health benefits of the extra original olive oil; my addiction to the olive oil is supported by my family. Since lemon is our family flavor we go for the Lemon Flavored Extra Virgin Olive Oil. The best thing about this lemon infused oil is that it does not have an overpowering lemon flavor and it is not mild either. It is just perfect without spoiling the original taste and savor of the extra virgin olive oil. The one with orange flavor is also good but I think that it is a little high on the strong citrus smell.

When I think about olive oil, the first thing that comes in to my mind is the Kitchen Line's Meyer Lemon oil and I use this only for special occasions because I cant afford to use this generously because of its expensive price. Well, this is definitely superior to the other olive oil that I have come across till date, but to be honest I ma of the view that it is overrated and there is not a such a chasm between this and the Auguri in terms of quality. The Auguri is rightly priced at $13 for 96 ounce where as the Kitchen Line comes at more than twice the price. I buy the Auguri for regular use and the Kitchen Line only during sales for the festive season.

Since I am not used to the different brands of this lemon laced olive oil, I cannot really compare with this others. By far this is good and we don't seem to get bored of this flavor. I wish this comes in organic version like the Mantova so that it becomes healthier. The Auguri Meyer Extra Virgin Olive Oil is completely natural with no artificial ingredients added to it. Even the lemon flavor is not synthetic and that makes the difference. This is least processed to make sure that the natural aroma and the goodness of the oil is not lost by adding chemicals. This has the typical authentic Italian touch that goes well with everything under the sky. This is obtained in a single press by cold technique.
