The holidays are passing quickly, and the time is coming to rejuvenate and refresh ourselves and our environments. When you apply the art of Feng Shui to your home, your life can take off on a grand scale! We have to be ready to participate in the changes that we see for ourselves and believe that good things will happen.

There are many ways to renew ourselves and one of the best is by letting go of the old to make way for the new. What is it that you see for yourself in the year to come? A new job, a new romance, or just a big push in the right direction on something that you have been procrastinating beginning?

Now is the time to begin these changes. Feng Shui can play a big part in the way you approach the new year. By utilizing the ancient Chinese art of placement you can be well on your way to creating a refreshing beginning. Look inward for what it is that you are open to changing, then look outward at your home to see what you need to clear in your environment. Take stock of your surroundings. Do you see things that you really need to take care of? Whether it be a stack of books waiting to be passed along, broken items waiting for repair, or even a closet of clothes that you need to sort through, decide what tasks are of top priority and set to completing them. Lay out boxes that are labeled for specific destinations. Fill these with the "donate" items, the "give away" items and the "throw away" things. If you have a hard time letting go of "stuff" start small. Use a few little boxes and work your way up to big ones. The main point is that you Start!
