I'm overall a pretty dorky person. I'm 25 I still enjoy a Saturday morning cartoon, and I have yet to outgrow toys. I'm a giant kid a heart, and people take notice. This year under the Christmas tree from my mom was a small package wrapped up with my name on it.

Inside was a cool set called Sea Monkeys On the Moon Mini World.

I have always loved Sea Monkey's. They are easy to take care of, and fun to watch. In my time I have gotten my hands on quite a few unique and interesting sets and tanks that are made specially for Sea Monkey's. I have an Executive Sea Monkey Set at work, filled with water, but the monkeys have died, and I kept it there anyway because I was too lazy to pack it up and bring it home.

The Sea Monkeys On the Moon Mini World though was a motive. I figured I'd bring home the old one, and deck out my office desk with the Moon set instead.

What The Kit Comes With:

One square tank that is about 2 inches high by3 inches wide. What is neat about this particular set is that it's lid stays on snug and I don't have to worry about any spills. The top of the lid slips on and off so feeding is easy.

The bottom of the tank is pretty cool too. It is supposed to be the moon, however it's green, which reminds me of a lawn with craters in it. On the moon lawn, (or whatever the hell it is) are two orange aliens. One alien has 4 arms and 3 legs. It stands in at about a half inch tall, and is orange. The other alien sits more near the back on top of a large crater. He is the same neon orange color, with 3 eyes and 2 arms.

There are two plastic flags that stick up from the moon, and a blue space ship sitting behind the alien with 4 arms.

Overall the scenery is cute, maybe not professional enough to be on my office desk, but I don't give a crap. Most of my co-workers think I'm immature anyway.

-The kit also comes with all of the things you need to bring your Sea Monkey's to life. It revolves around 3 simple steps. Step 1 is to fill the tank with water, and to add the water purifier. You then must wait 24 hours... this is important, because if you add the monkey eggs to early you get less live creatures. So wait the damn 24 hours, or have no pets.

After 24 hours you can add the eggs. 5 days later add a small pinch of food.

I wish I would of added that you should only feed them when the water is cloudy... or did I? lol. Ah ha... another kid at heart. (or dork at heart) lol. Its okay. There's tons of us. My monkeys as of now are big enough to view without the attached magnified bubbles. I imagine there are about 40 of them in there.

Are you calling me dorky? I'm twice your age and still like toys and have not outgrown cartoons. ;-) If I ever try sea monkeys again I'll know better how to keep them alive!
