If Jamie Lynn Spears still has a contract with Nickelodeon, she should find a lawyer. According to Nickelodeon, the network did not plant to film more episodes beyond this fourth season. It is unknown whether or not the teen star has a already contracted with the kids network giant for more episodes.

If she has a contract, and Nickelodeon re-negs on the contract, she will need a good contract lawyer.

Pander to Her Audience

JLS will need to play nice with her audience, and hope that they will forgive her indiscretion. An independent media consultant, Jonathan Taplin, told the Salt Lake Tribune that the future of Zoey 101 is "likely in the hands of Spears' audience, with the network forced to wait and see how reaction plays out," Taplin told the Salt Lake Tribune.
